A creamy meze salad of grated celeriac brightened with lemon, mixed with garlicky Greek yogurt, a little mayonnaise and walnuts.
Ingredients
Instructions
- 1
Peel away the thick skin of the celeriac and grate it on the fine side of a grater.
- 2
Immediately toss the grated celeriac with the lemon juice so it doesn't discolour.
- 3
Whisk the yogurt, mayonnaise, crushed garlic and salt until smooth.
- 4
Roughly chop the walnuts, keeping a few pieces for garnish.
- 5
Mix the celeriac with the yogurt mixture and walnuts, spoon into a dish, top with the reserved walnuts and chill for 20 minutes before serving cold.
