    Pour the cold milk into a saucepan, sprinkle over the salep powder and sugar, and whisk well so no lumps form.

    Place over medium heat and warm for 8-10 minutes, stirring constantly, until it is close to boiling.

    When it starts to bubble, lower the heat and keep stirring so it does not catch on the bottom; cook for another 8-10 minutes until thickened.

    Divide the hot salep between 4 large mugs, dust with cinnamon and serve right away.
