Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1

Line a small loaf pan (about 20x10 cm) with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Pit the dates and blitz them in a food processor for about 1 minute, until they form a paste.

  3. 3

Add the peanut butter, honey and milk and process for another 30 seconds until smooth.

  4. 4

Add the rolled oats and whey protein powder and pulse for 30-40 seconds, until the mixture clumps together into a ball.

  5. 5

Transfer the mixture to the pan and press it down firmly with the back of a spoon into an even layer.

  6. 6

Melt the dark chocolate over a water bath or in the microwave in 20-second bursts, then drizzle it over the top in thin lines.

  7. 7

Chill for at least 1 hour, then lift out of the pan and cut into 4 bars with a sharp knife. Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
