Juicy chicken bites coated in seasoned breadcrumbs and fried until golden and crunchy. A high-protein snack that kids love too.
Ingredients
Instructions
- 1
Pat the chicken breast dry with paper towels and cut it into about 24 pieces of roughly 3 cm.
- 2
Toss the chicken with half of the salt, the sweet paprika and the garlic powder, and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- 3
Set up three bowls: the flour mixed with the remaining salt, the beaten eggs, and the breadcrumbs.
- 4
Dredge each piece in flour and shake off the excess, dip it in the egg, then press it into the breadcrumbs to coat on all sides.
- 5
Heat one third of the sunflower oil in a large heavy-based pan over medium heat. Fry one third of the nuggets for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden outside and cooked through.
- 6
Fry the remaining nuggets the same way in two more batches, adding another third of the oil for each batch.
- 7
Drain on a plate lined with paper towels and serve hot.
